First edition of White’s last mystery novel – a serial killer loose in an English village. Covers a little faded to edges where there are nicks/ loss to the jacket. VG in the original pictorial jacket priced at 8/6d. The jacket has some nicks and a few small closed tears (one half inch tear to spine edge repaired neatly with archival tape) Spine dusty and rear panel marked. A nice example of a scarce wartime title.
