Laid in at half title is the pedigree of James Richard Haig of Blairhill in Perthshire, Fellow of the Society of Antiquaries, dating his antecedents from Petrus de Haga of Goda in 1105 down to Alexander Price Haig in 1863. To the rear a 4 page note tracing the origins of the name to Alexander the Great’s time. Coers a little worn and spine rebacked. Large and Heavy volume.
