Burgundy cloth with gilt titles. A composite of clippings from the Scotsman newspaper of 1885 on the Old Edinburgh Cross, and plates taken from works such as ‘Antiquities of Scotland’ showing the now removed Edinburgh market cross and others. With the bookplate of the antiquarian and heraldist G Harvey Johnston who presumably had this bound.
