Description

First edition of the collected Noctes Amboriane which originally appeared in series in Blackwood’s Magazine in 1822 to 1835. These were part of his projected ‘Works’ as issued by Blackwood, but are complete in itself. Rebound in an attractive full leather binding with the orriginal bookplate of ‘Robert M’Millan, Palgrove, 1866’ to the fonr pastedown and nthe attracttive bookplate of the colector Michael R.W. Berry to the front endpaper. A very nice set.
