Printer’s colophon to rear dated 201285 indicating the text printing in 1885 though title colophon added and issued the following year and adverts to rear undated. Covers marked and worn at corners and spine ends.. Gutter cracking but holdig at front hinge. Name to fep. Top half of folding map present (with the map, therefore not the text below it). A Good- early copy of this famous novel which is credited with starting the adventure novel trend.
