Memorial volume for Ian Charles, who died tragically at the young age of 32. This volume, published by his mother, the Dowager Countess, contains the memorials and tributes which were sent in or published after his death. Pasted in at the front is a letter (presumed facsimile) to the recipients of this privately printed tribute. This copy has a note to say it found its way back to the Seafield family and was then bought from the estate sale . Pasted to the front pastedown is the cover of the original envelope with the franked stamps. An interesting ephemeral item. In only Fair condition with wear to the covers and gutters.
