Early edition of Stevenson’s homage to his home town. Softcovers with illustrated cover. Fragile item which has survived reasonably well. protecteted in a plastic removable sleeve. Foxing to prelims, lightly throughout and to page edges. Strengthened to gutter at fep where there is an ownership inscription dated 1904. Edges slightly dogeared. Some notes throughout which are in pencil and are updating information in text – could be rubbed out but have been left as they seem well informed. Scarce in this format.
