First edition in the original half leather on leatherette, decotated in gilt. Spine ends worn. A Good copy. Inscription inside indicates this was the copy of the Burgh Chamberlain of Denny, John Melvin, in 1942. He has annotated a few entries in pencil – eg to note that one of those listed enlisted at age 16.
