Description

Account of a riot by the students of Edinburgh university in the nineteenth century. A snowball fight on South Bridge turned into a riot (also known as ‘The War of the Quadrangle) against police and the institutions, ending in a court hearing known as the “Trial of the Students.”

Quarter leather on marbled boards. Boards worn and some light marking internally but generally a Good+ copy of a scarce item of Edinburgh history.
