Description

An old lady sees a man with a mask and a spade on the Common. She confides her suspicions to Arthur Crook and he undertakes the defence of the man accused of the murder of a young women whose body is found buried there. Small penned initials to the fep otherwise VG in VG- jacket which has slightly rubbed spine ends and a small closed tear, repaired with archival tape, to the top edge of the front cover.
