Description

Scarce first edition of this cornerstone local history, produced for subscribers by the North star (newspaper) at Dingwall. Quarter leather on maroon buckram decorated with the Burgh arms in gilt. Two inscriptions to the fep and a contemporary ownership inscription to the half title (Chisholm – possibly of the local family who had associations with the Gladstone family) dated 1925.
